Special Challenge
With the Cycle London special challenge, you will need to defeat Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya’s record marathon time set in London in 2019. His time stands at 2 hours, 2 minutes and 37 seconds and is the course record. Therefore, your time as an individual or as a team to beat is 4 x 2 hours 2 minutes and 37 seconds, which is a total of 8 hours 8 minutes and 28 seconds for the 104.8 mile distance. Just remember Kipchoge was on foot so hopefully you will really appreciate the magnitude of his achievement when you are trying to get that little bit of extra speed down every hill to catch him!
